Comprehensive Eye Exam
Understanding a Contact Lens Exam
A comprehensive eye exam is essential for both clear vision and long-term eye health. During your exam, we determine your glasses prescription and thoroughly assess your eyes for signs of diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. If you wear contact lenses or are interested in trying them, a contact lens evaluation can be added to your exam to obtain a valid contact lens prescription.
Radiant Eyes offer's advanced retinal screenings, including Optos wide-field retinal imaging and OCT technology, to enhance early detection of eye conditions and provide a more in-depth assessment of your eye health. This is recommended for all patients as part of their yearly eye exam. Vision plan copays apply for a comprehensive eye exam and there may be additional copays for a contact lens prescription and advanced retinal imaging.

Contact Lens Prescription
A contact lens prescription can be added to a routine eye exam. A contact lens evaluation is required to obtain a valid contact lens prescription which will specify the brand, power, and parameters of your contact lens. Our comprehensive evaluation ensures you receive the most comfortable and effective lenses tailored to your vision needs. We assess your eye shape, corneal curvature, and vision requirements to determine the best contact lenses for you. This service includes trial lenses, personalized adjustments, and follow-up visits to ensure optimal fit and performance.
Please note that an additional service fee applies for contact lens fittings. Some vision plans may offer benefits towards this service.
Additional Eye Health Screenings
Maestro 2 OCT Wellness Screening

OCT technology provides a detailed view of the retina's layers, detecting subtle issues like swelling or thinning that may be missed with standard imaging. This B-scan technology complements ultra wide-field imaging, offering a thorough analysis for early diagnosis and effective management of retinal conditions.
- Yearly Screening: For patients aged 50 and older
- Baseline Imaging: For new patients of all ages
- Family History: Individuals with a history of glaucoma or macular degeneration or other eye diseases
- Health Conditions: Patients with diabetes or high blood pressure
